Iranian short ‘A Trivial Thing’ is vying at the 2021 FISSF in the US.

Iranian short flick ‘A Trivial Thing’ has been vying at the first edition of the Fillum International Storical and Short Film Festival (FISSF) in the US.

Directed by Seyyed-Morteza Sabz-Qaba, the short film narrates the story of a young man who wishes to become an actor and play on theater stages.

Also written by Sabz-Qaba, the short film’s cast list includes Majid Ardalan and Ali Qasemi.

The 12-minute flick has already participated in a number of global film events, including the Kanyakumari International Film Festival in India, the Merida Film Festival in Mexico, the Lift-Off International Film Festival in the UK, the Venice International Film Festival in Italy, and the Alter do Chao Film Festival in Brazil.

The FISSF is a newly lunched festival that is held twice a year and hosts films of all languages and genres from around the world.

The 2021 edition of the event started on April 23 and will continue until May 23.
